Saydees the Rescue Pup - My Reason for Rescuing
In October of 2012 our family received a new addition - our first family dog! This beautiful brown brindle, six month old, pit bull cross named Misty (now Saydees) stole our hearts with her sweet, mellow, and eager to please personality. Saydees was the ideal first dog for our family. She was such a good listener, so responsive, that we never were required to do formal training with her. It is hard to believe that this amazing pup was scheduled to be euthanized just a few hours before she was rescued from the San Bernardino Animal Shelter. Found as a stray, Saydees only spent three days in the shelter before it was her turn to be put to sleep. To many people who are as fortunate to live in areas where the over population of dogs is not an issue, it may seem baffling that this beautiful puppy with an ideal temperament would be put to sleep but unfortunately this is the case for many dogs living in the State of California. Over population has become a serious problem in due to people not spaying, neutering, or taking proper care of their animals.
